  2. a) It breathes through their moist skin. In order for air exchange to take place, the outermost layers of an earthworm are thin and must be kept moist to remain effective.

  3. a)Earthworms breath through their skin. They breath in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide just like we do they just do it during a process called diffusion. Carbon dioxide leaves their skin and oxygen enters it.
